Looking Back

As I look back now, there is some rhyme and reason for the things that happened in my past. I was naive and weak. I am still working on gaining strength, but I am no longer inexperienced. The lessons were brutal but well learned and burned into my memory. I can’t help but think I will encounter more challenges in the future, and the past experiences will help me prevail. Then when I look back someday, it may all make sense.

  1. All experiences, good or bad, shape us in some way, change how we live, or how we behave.
Your experiences will give you strength to move forward knowing that you made the right decision and knowing that you will not endure the same thing again. x

  2. There is a book, titled “Coming Apart” by Daphne Rose Kingma, which I found very helpful. She talks about the stages of healing, and how we will repeat the pattern one more time before moving away from it.
