Abuse is an unfortunate reality in this world and is more than physical assault. The invisible trauma we suffer can result in chronic illness, which is a relentless beast gnawing away at the soundness of mind. Education and support from others are vital in the healing journey.

  1. In complete agreement there, Sara. My SIL just gifted me a set of headphones (I’d never spend that much!) he bagged from eBay; I sing my heart out. I get crazy loud sometimes…pain abates for awhile. Thanks for sharing

  2. There’s not a moment in my life that I spend without music. From studying, to when having a bath to even reading. I know it’s crazy. Like my brain just evolved to do that. lol! ๐Ÿ™‚ Great post! God bless!
