Today, Yesterday, Last Week…

Its been going on for weeks now. Every day feels like an attack from one side or the other. Just when I think there will be one calm day with somewhat reasonable expectations of me, then I get hit again.

Abuse is an unfortunate reality in this world and is more than physical assault. The invisible trauma we suffer can result in chronic illness, which is a relentless beast gnawing away at the soundness of mind. Education and support from others are vital in the healing journey.

  1. Oh Sara, if you only knew how much we have in common. My heart is full of hope for you, as I know the crippling emotion that comes with being a victim of Narcissistic Abuse. They are psychopaths, Jezebels, liars and cheats. I try to have compassion, but the narcs in my life were SPOILED ROTTEN, no abuse given. They will reap what they have sown, and the Karma truck will deliver their harvest. Love you girl.

  2. I used to try to cheer myself up with the phrase.
“The darkest hour is just before the dawn.”
Looking back sometimes it did keep getting darker for a while, but often for me a difficult period has come just before a breakthrough.
