Abuse is an unfortunate reality in this world and is more than physical assault. The invisible trauma we suffer can result in chronic illness, which is a relentless beast gnawing away at the soundness of mind. Education and support from others are vital in the healing journey. I so understand your pain in all areas. Four years ago I suffered a brain bleed and every since then chronic headaches and pain is a big issue. I am very thankful for being alive although every day is a struggle. Please take care.

I’m sorry to hear that you suffered a brain bleed. I can’t imagine how difficult that must be, and I hope you are okay. Those days where I can be thankful for the little things that are all around me despite the pain are better.

Sorry that you had such a bad headache. I used to get those, and now in my old age of mid-forties, I mainly just get the migraine aura that I can pop an ibuprofen for to feel better relatively quickly. Magnesium has helped me a lot, but no other migraine sufferer that I’ve shared this with has had the same results, but I don’t know what they did exactly. Best wishes. Hope that you get to feeling better.

Thank you, Susan. I have some days where there is aura without pain too. Something I’ve found very interesting is that migraine is experienced very differently by each person, and the treatment results are also very individual. I’ve heard good things about magnesium and other supplements, too, but they’ve yet to give me relief.
